1. SUNDARBANS NATIONAL PARK:

Sundarbans is the world’s largest delta, and is partly located in India and Bangladesh. The region within the Indian border is known as Sundarbans. It is located in the ganga delta in the Bay of Bengal. It is a national park and a tiger reserved and is a protected area. The mangrove forests and the Royal Bengal Tigers living in this region are protected under the wildlife conservation act. Researchers and tourists from around the world come to Sundarbans to witness the wonders it holds.

Approach- It is located at about 140 km from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Airport.

The nearest Railway Station is Canning Railway Station at 29 kilometers from Sundarbans.

 Well connected by road with Kolkata.

2 DAKSHINESWAR KALI TEMPLE:

The Kali Temple is a temple devoted to goddess Kali, situated in Dakshineshwar is a symbol of Indian art and architecture. Besides, it is a well pilgrimage sites of Hinduism. It was built in 1855  Queen Rahmoni, a worshiper of the Goddess Kali. The temple also has associations with the famous 19th century mystic Ramkrishna. There are many Ghats in the area and the temple is famous for its pujas. The temple complex has many 12 temples dedicated to different deities.

Approach- The nearest Railway Station is Syaldeh and from there one can take a cab which are frequent.

Ferry services are also frequent between Dakshineshwar and Belur Math.

3 BELUR MOTH:

Belur Moth is another notable place of Hindu religion situated on the banks of river Hooghly. It is the headquarters of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission. It was founded by Swami Vivekananda, who was involved in the expansion of the virtues of Hinduism and various types of social support. The place has a spiritual aura to it.

Approach- The nearest Railway Station is Syaldeh.

4 KOLKATA SCIENCE CITY:

Science City in Kolkata, run by the National Council of Science Museum is the largest science centre in the country. There are a variety of exciting things in this museum to learn about science, which is one of the main reasons it attracts science lovers in particular. A science park is also present in the vicinity.

Approach- The place is well connected with metro and a metro ride from Maidan to Esplanade will take you there.

5 PARK STREET, KOLKATA:

 Another interesting place is Park Street, Kolkata. This is also important historically. Besides, it is a popular place for foodies. There are many restaurants here that are a great place for all sorts of exotic cuisine.

Approach- Line 154 bus from Subhash Chandra Bose Airport to Shyamabazar and from there, a metro to Park Street.
