1. Fort Kochi
This is located in the south western part of the main kochi, it is basically a seaside town which is famous for its ancient and old colonel charm. It depicts the rule of Portuguese and Dutch colonialism in the country. There have been several cultural changes in this region over time. The fort of kochi has seen the rise and fall of several powers like Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch and British.
2. Mattancherry Palace
This is a Portuguese palace is in Mattancherry in the state of Kerela. It is a museum that displays paraphernalia which belongs to the rajas (royal families) of Kochi. There are four seperate wings in Mattancherry palace which has a temple as well. It also feature and displays the portraits which are painted with the help of warm colours of Rajas of Kochi.
3. Willingdon Island
Willingdon island is island that is not naturally developed. It is manmade and is one of the biggest islands in India. It is named after the British Viceroy, Lord Willingdon. This island consists of some lavish hotels, museum, natural habitat, industrial buildings and commercials. Willingdon island has been serving as the headquarter of one of the command of indian navy.
4. Jewish Synagogue.
The beautiful place is located in the Jew Town region of kochi. The place was constructed in 1857 and is one of the most elegant structures in cochin. It is reffered to as Paradesi synagogue. It was built while the jews had trades with south India and is the oldest and active synagogue in India.
5. Vasco House
The Vasco House is located on the Rose Street of this port city of cochin. It is believed to be the residence of Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama. It is among the oldest heritage sites and houses in India.

By air.
Cochin is having the largest airport of Kerala and hence is highly connected. The Cochin international airport has good and fluent connectivity with other national and international airports.
By road
KSRTC provides many buses to cochin. These buses run in Kerala and connect the tourist’s spots and destinations of cochin. The place is connected via roadways with many cities such as Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad
By rail
Cochin has not got a railway station though has two junctions very near to it. The stations are Ernakulam Town Station and Ernakulam Junction Station. You can get to these stations from any part of India as they have good connectivity.
