1. Vagator
It is mainly divided into two parts the northern part and the southern part. It is famous for its red cliffs and clean and moreover stable water. The beach has a lot of small restaurants and clubs, some of them even has a view of the sea. You won’t get something more good than having beer while sitting near the beach. Vagator has hosted he famous Sunburn Festival where many popular international DJs as Martin Garrix have performed.
2. Morjim
The place is famous for its beach and the beautiful view. The Morjim beach has view from a fort build just beside it. It has sunset point located there and its dam peaceful. The scene is just the one which you see in movies, it literally seems as the sun is getting submerged in middle of the sea. Foreign visitors often visit the place.
3. Chapora fort
It is located near the Chapora River. It is believed to be built by the Muslim ruler Adil Shah. It came in light and became famous as it was one of the main sight where the Bollywood movie “Dil Chahta Hai” was filmed. Best time to visit the fort is during evening. You can see the clear sky with stars everywhere you can see.
4. Anjuna
It is famous for its high tides. The place Anjuna is actually a village located in north Goa. The place is one of the most crowded places in North Goa. Anjuna beach is comparatively less preferred as the water level and intensity is quite high. But for some youngsters who like water sports and deep water swimming it is a perfect beach.
5. Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary
As the name suggest it is one of the bird sanctuaries build under the name of “the bird man of India”. It is located along the sides of Mandovi River. The diverse flora and fauna out there is a must watch. It hosts home to hundreds of bird species and invites a lot of birds from foreign land each year.
How to reach Goa
By air
Goa is well connected by air to most parts of India. It has got an airport in the exteriors of the city. You can easily board a flight to Goa from different cities in India. It has an international airport for foreign visitors.
By road
A road trip is too much fun. It is connected to different major cities like Pune, Bangalore, and Mumbai. The scenery during the trip is amazing with some dangerous turns and narrow roads. It’s a complete adventure to have a road trip to Goa.
By railways
The main railway station for reaching Goa is Margao and Vasco-da-gama railway station. It is very easy and simple to reach Goa by the train. The railway stations are very well liked to cities such as Mumbai
