FIVE PLACES TO VISIT IN Goalpara district of Assam ASSAM:
As we know India is a beautiful country and there are many interesting elements throughout the country as well as in the state of Assam also. Today we will talk about some of the top level visiting or tourist places in the Goalpara district of this state.
1 TUKRESWARI TEMPLE:
It is another sacred pilgrimage site of Hinduism. A piece of the body of the goddess Sati falls here and thus the pilgrimage was created.. Hence the name of this temple is Tukreswari Temple. The temple is located 15 km away from the city of Goalpara.
2 SRI SURYA PAHAR:
The area is presently 32 km away from Guwahati city, 12 km from Goalpara city. There are many sexes of Lord Shiva made of stone carving. Besides, there are various patterns of Buddha and Jainism. Bongaigaon city is also another city near Niakat.
3 MANAS NATIONAL PARK
Another interesting place in this area is Manas National Park. There are so many animals living in this forest like, tiger, elephant monkey, various kinds of birds etc. it is a Biosphere reserve. Besides, there are many other wildlife groups, which is one of the reasons for attracting millions of visitors. The area is renowned as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The historical importance of the area and many more.
4 KOKRAJHAR
Kokrajhar is a beautiful natural area. This area is the main homeland of Bodo indigenous people. The area is culturally beautiful. This is an interesting place to visit with FAMILY. As well as the Chakrashala Wildlife Sanctuary, this area adds to the excitement of traveling.
5 DADAN HILL
Historically, this area is important. It is said that in ancient times the area was named Sonitpur. And here King Bana had an army general named Dadan, he was a worshiper of Lord Shiva. He used to meditate on the hilll. A wild elephant in that area used to distract him. One day Dadan killed the wild elephant and established the Shiva Temple on the hill. Since then, this temple has been regarded as an attractive pilgrimage center of Hinduism.

The Goalpara train can also be accessed at. Golpara railway station is located 5 km away from Golpara City.
BY ROAD:
Goals can also be taken by car. After arriving in Guwahati, you can take a public bus or a private cab ride to Goalpara.
